VOLUNTEERING

Becoming a Doctor Without Borders (MSF) had always been my dream; volunteering in countries about whose existence most choose to forget, countries struggling with famine, malaria, Ebola, with no medical help available. However, I chose a surgical specialty – orthopaedics and traumatology, and so my cooperation with MSF has been very intense. I have taken part in missions in conflict affected areas, where the MSF team works right in the centre of military action, often being the only witness to human suffering, where civilians become the main victims of the war. Please see below for more information about my missions in Yemen in 2015 and 2018.
